A. Investment Readiness Toolkit
The toolkit provides a series of structured modules that help SMEs and established businesses build their knowledge and levels of investment readiness. Topics covered include:
1. Managing Finance – Businesses will learn tools, record keeping, and financial modelling.
2. Developing your marketing plan – This assists SMEs to define their product’s value, set prices, and market effectively.
3. Measuring your impact – This guides entrepreneurs and SMEs to measure and communicate their social, economic, and environmental impacts.
4. Understanding investment – businesses learn and understand different types of investment and capital available in the Pacific and internationally. They learn to develop plans to support their investment goals.
5. Developing your pitch deck – This consolidates the knowledge and tools developed in earlier stages, enabling participants to produce professional investor materials, including pitch decks, and builds their confidence to approach investors effectively.
An additional module is ‘Developing a Business Plan.’ Activities will be assessed by our team who will provide feedback to each participating business. Here is the link to the Toolkit application form Investee Toolkit Application Form (or click here for flyer with additional information).
Upon completion of all the modules, participants will be eligible for two free mentorship sessions. These sessions will be provided by successful investors and established entrepreneurs who we have onboarded and have an interest in the Pacific. This platform also gives the investee the opportunity to develop their knowledge and engage with the investor going forward.
B. Investor Hub
Complementing the Toolkit is the Investor Hub. When investors register and are given access, they will see information on the overall investment climate and the sectors of interest. We will also notify the investors of the applicants that are investment ready and provide introductions should it meet their objectives. In terms of the criteria, key aspects are the business is registered for a year or more, and it is not a startup nor in ideation stage.
Please apply at your earliest opportunity.
